HMPE Rope

HMPE is the chemical name for High Modulus Polyethylene an increasingly popular material used to make different types of rope. HMPE is also known as UltraHigh Molecular Weight PolyEthylene (UHMWPE) offering a range of performance and durability properties depending on grade and consistency of the fiber make up.

Braided jacket is available for the eyes and the whole rope.

Application:

Pelagic Fishing, Mooring, Towing, General Using

Features & Benefits:

  • Plaited with UHMWPE fibers

  • Extremely low stretch

  • Equivalent strength to wire rope but 1/7 weight

  • Maximum strength-to-weight ratio

  • Non-rotational

  • Excellent UV resistance and wear resistance
